"For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. " Words that come out of us aren't just words. When we find ourselves in an uncomfortable situations & then words not befitting would come out, they didn't just roll off. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Proverbs 18:4 The words of a man's mouth are deep waters. Words wouldn't just come out, they are what your heart is full of. I am so guilty of this. In my posting "off guard," the title wasn't fitting somehow. That little joke wasn't off guarded word, it was one that came out of my heart. It is another revelation of the kind of heart that i do have. We can deceive people by putting on a mask but your tongue will blow you one day off. We need to mature. I need to mature. I need to progress in speech. One day, we'll stand before God's judgment seat & we'll be accountable for every word & works that we do. Matthew 12:36-37 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. 1timothy 4:16 (I am not a teacher or whatever of the same kind. I am just a student trying to learn from my Master, Jesus Christ) James 3:10-11

Psalm 90:12 Teach us, Oh Lord to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. In my search for photo subjects this morning, i came across this spider web decorated with water drops. What a piece of art crafted by our Creator. He never ceases to amaze me. This artwork isn't just wonderful, it teaches us one significant lesson. These two insects may signify our lives. They were here yesterday & gone today. So is it with life. Life is just but transitory like a vapor it vanishes too soon. "Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away." James 4:14! We are bound for eternity as what the bible says. I pray to live this life as Psalm 90:12 says; one who numbers her days. The only thing that matters in this temporary life on earth are those things of eternal value. Clearly, having a relationship with Jesus Christ is the only thing of eternal value as eternal life comes only through Him, to those who believe in Him (john 3:16). John 14:6 says, He is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Him. All of us are going to live somewhere for eternity. The only eternal destiny other than heaven with Christ is one that provides eternal punishment to those who reject Him. Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near --- Isaiah 55:6. Scripture Quotes on loveJohn 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Romans 8:37-39 No, in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For i am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life i now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does know us is that it did not know Him.
It was one sunny spring day. Was knocked down physically in the morning, had to stay at bed. As it got better in the afternoon, I got myself ready, grabbed my bike & off i went heading to a store. Everything seemed to be business as usual. The store is not far away from home & i soon found myself seeing familiar faces inside, greeted them & went off straight to the flowers' stand. Yes, i was up to buying flowers only. As i paid for the item, before me is an older woman which i know quite well since she is a regular to us. She tried to crack a joke (that's her habit) & i somehow just got swept and rode upon it. It was something about lying & since i am not really a joker i tried to knack a nice one. I said machines don't lie. It went so out of proportion that i eventually have said something which was offensive to the cashier. Her eyes met mine & at that moment something broke my heart. I went out of the store. Like someone standing before the mirror and the next minute is forgetting how she/he looks like, i did too. Time was so fast & came evening. Hubby & i talked. I enjoyed it very well how he shared to me the preaching that he heard on cd. The mood was very pleasant till i relayed to my husband what was in the store. He wasn't ecstatic about what he heard & i could follow him so well. I felt so uncomfortable & so i drove rushingly to the store. I got so convicted by the Holy Spirit. "And when (the Holy Spirit) comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment." - John 16:8 "James 1:26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless." Praise God for His grace is enough. I got the strength to accept my fault to the cashier and she has accepted my apology. I went home with a peace of mind. |
